HONG KONG WITHDRAWS 14 DAYS VISA ON ARRIVAL FOR INDIANS - From January 23, Indian Nationals must apply for and complete online pre-arrival registration before enjoying their 14-day visa free visit or entering Hong Kong during transit. Registration is free. Each pre-arrival registration for an Indian National will be valid for six months or until the expiry date of the Indian passport linked to it, whichever is earlier..

The Malaysian Government has introduced Electronic Travel Authorisation Visa (e-visa) for Indian Nationals residing in India with effect from 15th April 2016 valid for a single journey with stay of maximum 30 days for Tourism purposes. The e-visa comes at a fee of around Rs. 2750/- and can be obtained online within 24-48 hours.

BIOMETRICS MANDATORY FOR SCHENGEN VISA

Effective 2nd November 2015, biometric data collection (fingerprints and digital photo)has been made mandatory for all Schengen Visas. This would mean all applicants except children below the age of 12 years will be required to personally visit the respective Embassy or VFS Centre for biometric and submission of applications. The biometric data collected will be valid for 5 years.
